Forbidden Destiny Available Today. #NewRelease

Forbidden Destiny by Raebeth McGee-Buda
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Releasing: October 1, 2017
Cover Designer: Emcat Designs

ABOUT:
We dream of our future and what we want to be when we grow up. These dreams are who we come to be: unless our destiny has other plans. Sophie Hathorn stumbled upon her destiny through her love of books. She learns she's part of a legacy of the most powerful witches, but with a twist. She's also part Wizard, which makes her the first and only Hybrid.

Struggling with her newly found life, Sophie must prepare and train for the biggest fight of her life. Eros, a Shapeshifter, and Succubus plan to overtake Sophie's hometown and call it his own. He's created an army of Cambion to help him fight. In the midst of the threat, the Wizard's Council comes into town to help Sophie prepare for the fight of her life when she finds herself romantically attracted to Mason; the son of the most powerful Wizard. However, the law has been set for centuries by the Goddess, Pax that no witch or wizard shall be involved romantically.

Not only is Sophie pressured to become the best Hybrid, but she's also fighting the internal battle of the feelings she has for Mason. Will she be able to handle the physical and emotional battle she's about to face or will she fall short?

***

Three days passed in a blur and Sophie was on edge. The Blackguard was due to arrive anytime during the day, which made her nervous. Time was ticking away, getting closer to the inevitable. Soon she would find herself making the journey into the Underworld and using the abilities she'd trained hard with Mason to perfect flawlessly. Today wasn't any different. Mason had her up right before sunrise and they were out the door to watch the beauty of the sun taking over the heavens, while birds dashed around graciously through the skies.

The past few days had been such a learning experience for Sophie. She learned exactly what she was capable of and learned more about the man who had, not only her heart but was connected in spirit. Surprisingly, he was a bit of a nerd under the tough outer side. He enjoyed some light reading and relaxing. Photography was his passion and he loved romance. He was a hopeless romantic. Three days of being alone with him, he had managed to fully win Sophie's heart and vowed to do whatever he had to while she was gone to change the laws of the land. They were meant to be together and he was destined to change anything that stopped it.

"What's on your mind?" Mason asked since Sophie was missing each power hit he knew she easily could have avoided.

"I'm an anxious mess," she replied.

"What else is new?" Mason joked.

"Hey, I may be a mess, but I'm a hot mess. Plus, you would be too if, in a matter of a few days, you'd literally be going through hell." Sophie rebutted.

"True. Wanna sit? Take a break?" Mason asked, motioning toward the large rock Sophie came to know well.

"Sure."

They walked hand in hand over to the rock and sat down. Nothing felt as good as being with Mason and knowing he had her back. "I seriously have no idea why I volunteered to do this. I mean, I do, but I don't. My gram is there, waiting. However, I have no idea what I may face and I'm not looking forward to the overly hot and nasty environment. The stench is enough," Sophie rambled.

"Shhh, let's not focus on that. You're doing what you are meant to do Sophie. Take pride in that. There are people out there who are fighting to find out their true purpose. Yours found you, not the other way around." Mason said.

After taking a deep breath and exhaling, "I know but not everyone is fighting Lucifer in Hell," she finished looking off in the distance.

"I can't tell you how to do this. Nor can I tell ya how to succeed, but what I can say is that I'm proud of you for trying. It kills me knowing you'll be doing this without me."

"It's what I was born to do...right?" Sophie asked, giving an unsure, yet questioning looks toward Mason.

"It's pretty messed up that you're in this position, but I think it's admirable for you to take a stand and do what needs to be done. Fear has nothing on you."

"Riighhhtt!" Sophie rolled her eyes.

"Let's get back to practice. Don't wanna waste what time we have left. The Blackguard should be there by the time we get back." Mason said, standing up.

*****

"I remember the first time I read a book. It played through my head like a movie. It wasn't even like I was reading the words. It pulled me in, and I felt like I was in another world. The book's world. That is.. hands down... what you accomplished with this book! The detail was amazing, and the way you created this whole world is just... amazing. That's really the only way I can describe it. It is so enticing! I could not put it down! And I am so excited for book number 2!!!"

~~~~
"Raebeth Buda book takes us on an exciting journey with Sophia and her family and friends while she faces new and major challenges in her life. Between fighting things she never knew existed to fighting her self over feelings. The book takes us through an exciting journey of new magical species and the challenges she has to face as a hybrid. I couldn't put this book down. If you are a fan of supernatural, this is one book that needs to be added to your library."
Soon to Release: The Gracious Wife by RaeBeth McGee-Buda
Title: The Gracious Wife
Author: RaeBeth McGee-Buda
Genre: Christian Living
Publish Date: Feb. 5, 2017
****
Book Description:
Marriage can be surreal, unpredictable, and enticing all at the same time. We find and fall in love with our best friend, and all of our dreams seem to be coming true. We've heard of the princess being rescued by her prince and they ride off into the sunset to live happily ever after. Unfortunately, this isn't how marriage is in real life, especially when you're trying to be what God has called you to be. Marriage is two self-centered individuals coming together to live as one.
Given all the foes and dips that may come with marriage, this book gives the basic understanding of marriage the way God intended and not as the way fairy tales has made it out to be. It's meant to help wives be more self-sacrificial toward their husband by acting in grace, love, and forgiveness. In this journey with our best friends, we can work toward being more humbling and giving. It takes more than love alone for a great marriage. The basis of a great marriage starts with a strong spiritual foundation, a strong friendship which grew into a strong romance, along with tons of work, sacrifices, and submission by both partners to make it last.
This book provides Rae-Beth's opinion with communication, getting through the tough times, fair fighting, and keeping God the center of the marriage. Dive in and see marriage from one wife's perspective.
Tell us a bit more about your new book,
The Gracious Wife...
The purpose for my writing this book is directed at all women in all walks of life. My goal is to help those who are looking forward to getting married one day, those who are engaged, and those who are married. As I wrote this book, I included so very personal details about the darker side of my marriage in hopes of giving someone else the opportunity to learn from my mistakes. I feel that we are so focused on what society thinks is a great marriage over what God wants for our marriage. In the past, I was so focused on doing things my way and pointing out where my husband was going wrong; while I did this, I forgot to focus on what God had planned for me as a wife. The transparency and honesty within the pages of this book are to show those who are struggling what I overcame and that it's possible for them to overcome them too.
God wants and desires for us to be the gracious wife he intended. I pray that each person who reads The Gracious Wife can relate to several areas within the book and see their marriage in a different light by the end of their reading. I encourage all women to read this book, even if they're looking to strengthen their joyful marriage. We all know that marriage doesn't come with a manual, but I think this book will make a great engagement gift to a Christian bride to be, a Christian wife who wants to better herself for God and her spouse, and for the struggling wife. There are a lot of Bible references that are there to help guide and direct the reader toward the ways that God intended. I believe this book will be great to refer back to often throughout marriage to help keep us on our intended path.
So, join me in being your husband's crown as you journey with me into being a gracious wife.
Excerpt
The Gracious Wife
(Taken from Chapter one)
Most little girls dream about their wedding day. They want the perfect dress with the perfect pair of shoes for the big walk down the perfectly decorated aisle where their prince charming is waiting to sweep them off their feet and run away to paradise. However, this is where the dream usually comes to a screeching halt; at least for me, it did.
Growing up, I was a very imaginative little girl. I made a castle out of blankets, cars out of boxes, a field into a battlefield, and two rooms in the same house into a neighborhood. But thinking about it, I never went on to dream of how my life would be once I was married. Let's face it, most Disney movies stop once the princess married her prince. (Until years later when the second movie comes out for the second generation and those that saw them aren't interested in fairytales anymore.)
I was married on August 11, 2012, to my prince charming who loved me for the previous eight years. When I walked down the aisle to become Mrs. Buda, it never crossed my mind on what kind of wife I wanted to be for this man I was forever uniting within the eyes of God. It's a little sad to say, but I started thinking about these three years after I was married, and after a handful of problematic situations had occurred, which almost ended my marriage, what I actually wanted for my marriage. Shouldn't we be thinking of the values of a wife/husband before we say I do? I think so.
Love Lines by Diana Nixon BLOG TOUR
Love Lines BLOG TOUR
The traces of supernatural powers have always been crossing the world of human beings. Many people know about the existence of healers, mind readers, oneiromancers and wizards. But for centuries their lives have been kept secret and no one has ever heard about Dever, a kingdom of mysteries and magic.
Neither has Eileen Clark, whose life has never been different from the one other teenagers have
.
Everything changes the day Eileen receives an invitation to join the ranks of Dever’s students.
Nothing will ever be the same again…
New life, new friends, new enemies…
 And love so powerful that no magic will be able to destroy…
Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
-          So I was born in Minsk, Belarus. I am a lawyer by occupation and a writer by heart. I have a Master of Law degree, but since the day I finished writing my debut fantasy novel, named Love Lines, I couldn’t imagine my life without creating new stories. That’s why today I’m a full-time writer:) As any other author, I’m a coffee addict and a hopeless dreamer. I’m also a hopeless optimist, so things are rarely bad for me:)
Tell us a few words about Love Lines.
-          As I have already said, it’s a fantasy story; a mixture of magic, mystery and love. It has everything a YA bookaholic needs: intriguing plot, unpredictable twists, cliff-hanging end. I tried to add some unique notes to the things that we can find in any other paranormal story: magic, elements, curses, spells, etc. In Love Lines, you will see a completely new approach to all of the above. It will take you to the world of Dever – a university for people with different supernatural powers.  You will dive into a wonderful adventure, where nothing is what it seems. You will see love so beautiful and touching that won’t leave anyone indifferent. Give Love Lines a try, and you won’t be disappointed! :)
What project are you working on now?
-          A few days ago, I finished writing another NA romance, named Love Undone.  The date of its release is not set yet, but it will be published by Nevermore Press, so stay tuned and don’t miss the news! For now, I can share the synopsis and book trailer that you can find following the link  below: http://diananixon.blogspot.com/2014/03/love-undone-synopsis-book-trailer.html
Can you tell us about your upcoming book?
-          Love Undone is a story that shows how easy losing love is, and how hard it is to bring things back to normal. It will make you cry, laugh and swoon.  I truly hope you will enjoy this love adventure, full of touching moments, strong, funny and charming characters:)
What was your favorite chapter (or part) to write and why?
-          Love Undone is written from two POVs, Kassie’s and Daniel’s. I really enjoyed working on Dan’s chapters, as he’s a tough act to follow and a real expert in pissing everyone off:) He has a good sense of humor and he never misses his chances to tease Kassie. I call them an explosive combination of temper and passion:)
What has been the toughest criticism given to you as an author? What has been the best compliment?
-          One day, after I published Love Lines novel, I was looking for the readers to review the book. One of them said it was very rude to ask people to read my story. But I didn’t MAKE anyone read it I only asked if they wanted to. That’s why her response made me so angry, that even now I remember it as one of the worst moment in my writing  career:) But there were so many great compliments about my books. I keep receiving feedbacks every day, and people keep saying how much they love what I do. I guess this is the best thing that any author would like to hear:)
Do you have any advice to give to aspiring writers?
-          Don’t let anyone make you doubt your talents. There will be many people willing to criticize your books, but there will also be those who will fall in love with your writing:) So don’t be afraid of anything, go ahead, and spread the news about your stories all over the world! :)
Is there anything that you would like to say to your readers and fans?
-          I truly appreciate everything that you do and say to make me want write more. You are my inspiration, so I promise to create more great stories for you to enjoy:)
Have you ever gone out in public with your shirt on backwards, or your slippers on, and when realizing it, just said screw it?
-          Ahaha, yes. It happened once when I was in London. I went for a walk with my friend, and about 10 minutes after we left our apartment, she laughed and pointed to my blue slippers saying, “You know, they match your shirt perfectly!”  We both laughed, but it was too late to go back home, so I hoped people wouldn’t notice them:) Thank God, it was late outside and streets were almost empty:)
Do you prefer fuzzy or tub socks?
-          Fuzzy!
Are you a person who makes their bed in the morning, or do you not see much point?
-          I’m a person who likes when the house is clean:) So I never leave my bed undone.
Be honest, how often do you wash your hair?
-          Every other day:)
Do you get road rage? What pisses you off the most about other drivers?
-          No to the first question:) But I hate it when other drivers are showing off.
Do you go out of your way to kill bugs? Are there any that make you screech and hide?
-          I don’t like them and I’m afraid of almost every that I see round:)
Coffee or Tea?
-          COFFEE!!!
What is your biggest phobia?
-          Water. I’m not a great swimmer:)
What’s your biggest pet peeve when it comes to social media? (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
-          Facebook :) The thing knows how to distract me when I should be writing:)
Welcome to the ninth day along the Silenced Series blog tour. Thank you so much for stopping by, again. I'm so happy that you took a moment to join in with the tour.
Author Information
Bio: RaeBeth McGee-Buda was born in southwestern Pennsylvania in 1987, the second daughter of Rachel Yost and Arthur Curtis McGee. RaeBeth grew up loving to read and write
poetry, as well as short stories. Her childhood dream was to become a teacher. Rae Beth's dream of writing was created in her eleventh grade literature class where writing became her passion.
RaeBeth married in August 2012 to her husband, Gregory Stephen Buda Jr. and resides in a small Pennsylvania town of Fairchance. RaeBeth is a full time mother of one beautiful daughter Emma, and a mother to an angel, Dakota Emily.
She graduated from American Intercontinental University in 2010 with her associates in business administration. She enjoys spending her time writing and feels connecting with readers and sending her messages are her main goals.
  1. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
This question I get most often and each time I try to give a little more away. So, it’s a given that I’m a person who loves writing but I also love reading. I am part of an amazing reviewing group where I help other authors out by reading and reviewing their work. I’m a full time Mommy of one little girl, full time angel mommy, and a blogger.
  1. What do you do when you are not writing?
At this time I do the “mommy” thing. I take care of the house and my family. They always come first. Then comes my writing.
  1. Do you have a day job as well?
I would consider my “day job” to be a blogger. I devote a lot of my time to preparing posts for upcoming events for other authors. I love giving back to the amazing authors I know and to those I have yet to meet.
  1. How did you choose the genre you write in?
I haven’t really planned on staying with one genre. I have several ideas I’m working on right now which are part of different genre’s. I mainly write for young adult/new adult. I’m even dabbing with the idea of a romance too.
  1. Do you work with an outline, or just write?
Most of the time I just write. I tried doing the outline but I never stick with them.
  1. Can you tell us about your challenges in getting your first book published?
Oh my there’s been several. I’m not one for talking about others, therefore I can’t really go into detail here. But what author hasn’t come up to challenges when publishing a book?
  1. If you had to go back and do it all over, is there any aspect of your novel or getting it published that you would change?
If I could go back  (which I’m still thinking of doing) I’d have another editor look at my book Silenced and see if they could help make it better. I know there are mistakes within the version out there and I plan on fixing those before any box sets come out.
  1. Can you tell us about The Overtaking?
Sure.  It continues Amber's story with depression, cutting, and the drama that unfolded in book one. Lots of fans finally have answers to the questions they’ve been waiting for and there’s even a huge surprise of events within this one too.
  1. Is anything in your book based on real life experiences or purely all imagination?
Silenced is based on both. There are parts which I’ve written in that has actually happened and parts that are totally made up. Most of the book is based on real life though.
  1. How did you come up with the title?
I thought the title Silenced was perfect because when a person cuts, they are “silencing” their pain. Even if it is only temporary.
  1. What project are you working on now?
I’m working on several. My main focus is Saying Goodbye Without Saying Hello right now.
  1. Will Saying Goodbye be coming out soon?
I’d love to have the actual date, but unfortunately at this time, there isn’t one.
  1. What has been the toughest criticism given to you as an author? What has been the best compliment?
The toughest criticism I got as an author wasn’t actually directed at me but at the editor. Several people pointed out the misspelled words and punctuation within Silenced to me shortly after it was released. When they brought it to my attention, they were less then nice about it. That’s all I will say on that part. I’ve also been said that I don’t connect with the main character, which is hard to see. Amber is partly based off of me.
The best compliment is each and every review I get. Even if it’s less than perfect. I enjoy seeing what each person that reads it has to say. I take the bad and learn from them. I use the good to help me push through the rough times.
  1. Do you have any advice to give to aspiring writers?
No matter how tough it seems to get, keep going!!!!
FUN and Wacky questions
  1. Have you ever gone out in public with your shirt on backwards, or your slippers on, and when realizing it, just said screw it?
Not that I can remember but I have went out in my pajamas.
  1. Do you prefer fuzzy or tub socks?
Depends on the weather... if it’s winter I definitely like fuzzy. If it’s in the summer...none because I would rather wear my summer shoes. (Flip flops or sandals)!
  1. Are you a person who makes their bed in the morning, or do you not see much point?
There’s no point. I’m the only one who sees it and I’m only going to mess it up that night anyway.
  1. Be honest, how often do you wash your hair?
I wash my hair at least every other day. There’s been a time or two where I’ve went three days, but then I have to wash it.
  1. Do you get road rage? What pisses you off the most about other drivers?
Surprisingly, I don’t drive... yet!
  1. Do you go out of your way to kill bugs? Are there any that make you screech and hide?
I will go out of my way to get away from any bug. They make me run and hide.
  1. Coffee or Tea?
Coffee in the morning. Iced tea in the afternoon.
  1. What is your biggest phobia?
Bees and spiders
  1. What’s your biggest pet peeve when it comes to social media? (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
I hate seeing a bunch of food posts on Facebook and I hate seeing a person “like” their own status. It’s honestly like high fiving yourself after a job well done. Obviously you like the post dummy because YOU wrote it.
