Reasons To Join Street Teams by @raebethmcgee

Guest Post: RaeBeth McGee-Buda

If you haven't heard the term yet...don't worry it's only a matter of time before you do. I am talking about a street team. First let me explain what the street team is when it comes to readers and authors.

What is a street team?
A street team is a group of people that is in a private group on Facebook and their purpose is to help spread the word about an author and their work. An author has so much to do when it comes to  writing. Most of the time they don't have the time to do it all themselves. So, why not join and help spread the word?
What does a Street Team do?
There are a variety of things street team coordinators have their team do. With my team, I have the members help share graphics, blog links, tweets, etc. Eventually we will be taking it one step further and spreading the word about my books in our local communities.
What will I get out of this if I join?
First and foremost, you'll get the author's everlasting appreciation for helping to take some of the work off of them. There's graphics made just for their team for their blogs and their only exclusive to those who are on the team. If you're an author, some authors decide to return the favor by joining other teams and helping  out as well. If you're a reader, you may get copies of the authors work as a gift from the author. Each active member even has the ability to partake in exclusive giveaways for prizes that are only available to the street team.

****

In today's world, it's hard for an author to get recognized for their hard work. A street team helps this a little but doesn't resolve it all. It isn't the answer if you're looking to sky rocket your sales because most team members join for their way of showing you support. Some may join for the rewards while others join for the fun of it.

When being part of a street team, one of the most important aspects is for you (as a member) to be as active as you can. Not only are you showing the author how important your part in the team is, but you are showing your loyalty to the authors work.

With that said, consider joining the street team for RaeBeth McGee-Buda. Lots of changes are coming and you will be glad you joined. You won't want to miss out on this.

(Cover Reveal) Finding Faith Cover Reveal

Title: Finding Faith
Author: Tabatha Vargo
Genre: New Adult / Contemporary Romance
Presented by: As You Wish Tours

BLURB

A little FAITH can get you through…

One night. That’s all Finn had with the only girl he ever loved. Years later, all he has left of that night is a silver cross, a broken give a damn, and the unrelenting desire to drink her memory away. As the lead singer of Blow Hole, Finn has his pick of women, but none are able to squash the need he still carries around for Faith. To hate her offers some relief, but when Finn sees her again after so many years, it’s hard to despise her. Especially when every reason he had to hate her, turn out to be lies.

As the daughter of a strict Baptist preacher, Faith Warren lived sheltered from all things sinful. When she met Jimmy Finn, the epitome of all seven deadly sins, she found out exactly what she was missing. After being forced to choose between her soul and the only person in the world who made her feel alive, Faith walked away from Finn and dove head first into her father’s preferred life. But now Finn’s back and he’s getting payback by wreaking havoc on her emotions. Except sometimes bad things feel good, and Faith has to decide once again if she wants to stay in her gilded cage or fly free with the dark angel of lust himself.

AUTHOR BIO
Tabatha's been writing since she could pick up a pencil. Her first publication was a little poem in her elementary school paper, from that point on she was hooked. When she was a teenager, she traded in her girly magazines for personalized writing notebooks.

At nineteen, she met her own personal prince charming and writing took a back burner for a while. She's now married to that prince and the mother of a beautiful seven-year-old princess/rock star. Once her daughter was born, writing came back into her life, and she finished her very first novel, Wicked Fate, in May of 2009.

She's now pursuing her English degree and she hopes to one day teach while continuing to write.
