They signed in and took a seat directly across from me. The kids continued to glare around the room yelling and carrying on. Seeming annoyed, the woman pulls out her cell phone and began playing with it. The boys took off towards the magazine rack, pulling them out of their little chubby, and throwing them on the floor. The third sits quietly beside her mother watching every move the younger ones make while yanking on her moms shirt. The woman doesn't glance up to settle her kids.

Sophie opened her eyes to witness the mythical creature which stood in the clearing of the field. It moved it’s head side to side and seemed to look directly at them. Once it had them in focus, it began to move towards them.
“How are you doing that?” Mason asked.
“It’s amazing the energy you find to make such a huge illusion and it seems so life like,” Donovan complimented.
“Uh, Don... I don’t think it’s an illusion,” Mason said moving his head out of the way of the dragon’s nose.

#SixSunday- Silenced (WIP) #5

The new life I'm walking into scares me. I've been so used to doing the same things, I'm not sure if I can do new. I've never been the outspoken person who dives into new things without hesitation or even thought. The sound of a horn pulls me back to the present moment. I didn't realize I stopped in the middle of the parking lot and cars were waiting to get through. I wave as I say, "I'm sorry. Didn't mean it."

#SixSunday- Sophie (WIP) #4

It was wet, cold, and dark. From the dust, dirt, and cracked cement floor, one could see it was a basement. A small square window allowed a small amount of light in. Thick plastic covered it so no one outside looking in could see a thing.  A pole stood in the middle of the room and the walls were finished with concrete that has broken over time. There was one light bulb above the mattress, although there wasn't a string to turn it on.

#SixSunday- Sophie (WIP) #3

Sophie got down on her knees, put her back to the house, and carefully put her feet through the broken window. She slowly lowered herself into the basement, being sure to feel the floor before letting go of the window ledge. She turned around and walked toward the woman.
As Sophie got closer, it seemed the Cambion knew she was there. It began screaming and it didn't take Eros long to return.
"What a pleasant surprise, Sophie." Eros said in his rough voice.

#SixSunday- Silenced (WIP) #3

I want to scream but the only sound I can make is a small squeak. It sounds like a tiny mouse. The black fuzzy spots that I was seeing became dark. My hearing is fading and I think I hear Landon’s voice. This I couldn’t be sure.
Then, I pass out and there I lay motionless on the floor………

#SixSunday- Silenced (WIP) #2

I trudge to my room crying. The pain flows freely throughout my body. It's attacking my delicate heart that tries so hard to be strong. That’s where it fails. It hurts and, once again, the darkness is getting the best of me. I settle myself down and notice I'm not in my room.
